About Us

As a final project for our music class, we will conduct fieldwork related to a Dallas music-culture. We will combine all we have learned throughout the semester to become music ethnographers ourselves, studying the following elements of SMU Classical music culture: ideas about music, activities involving music, repertoires of music, and material culture of music.
